Medical Activity Day at Kings College London

Wednesday 19 April 2017

Isaac Newton Academy accompanied 18 Year 9 & Year 10 students to Kings College medical school for a medical activity day.

It was a very informative day and students had the opportunity to work with medical students in interactive workshops, with a focus on the Heart, Lungs and dietary choices.

The highlight of the day was when the students took Mr Darkin's blood pressure during clinical skills and thankfully gave him a clean bill of health!

We're sure the experience on campus and the interaction with medical students will have inspired several students to consider a career in Medicine in the future.
