We work hard to recognise hard work. From complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit in the learning rooms to staff football teams, choirs and exercise classes, INA is more than a school, it is a community. Staff come together for socials each term and every summer there is a staff residential conference.

Training and development
INA has an impressive tailored-CPD offer to ensure that you are always provided with great opportunities to learn new skills and progress. This includes weekly off-timetable CPD sessions, twice as many training days as standard, an in-house leadership course for middle and senior leaders, a programme for newly qualified teachers, and the chance to learn from and collaborate with peers and leaders from across the Ark network.
We'll support you in your role
At Isaac Newton Academy, the expectations are high, but there is a lot of support to help you reach them. There is an open door policy that extends to all staff and students. From weekly line management meetings to ‘hero of the week’ and termly socials to say thank you, Isaac Newton Academy recognises its staff and the hard work everyone puts in to the school.
At Isaac Newton Academy, behaviour is managed effectively. There are clear and strict guidelines about what is expected of our students, which is consistent and easy for both staff and students to follow. We also have Behaviour Working Parties in the mornings, offering suggestions and new strategies for dealing with any problems. These set procedures allow our teachers to concentrate on teaching and our students to focus on learning.
