On Wednesday 1st of November, the year 9 boys and girls football team took part in the Ark Year 9 Football Championships. Despite the heavy rain, both teams performed valiantly and finished 3rd in their respective groups. The boys’ match against eventual group winners Ark Evelyn Grace stands out – they performed admirably but succumbed to a last-minute equaliser by the opposition. There was a massive upset in the girls’ group as INA beat tournament favourites Ark Globe, 4-3. Well done to all the players for their persistence and hard work in very testing conditions.
