On Tuesday 19th November, the KS4 Girls Football Team took part in a fixture against Beal High School in which INA won 5-2 with star performances coming from Jasleen Bhamber 11A, Nadirah Uddin 11D and Alisha Din 11C.
With a professional performance from the girls building on from their previous two fixtures and their cohesiveness as a team saw goals from Jasleen Bhamber 11A and Hafsa Mahmood 8E showing a maturity in their display.
The Girls finally getting their win and an empathetic win at that to slowly progress onto the knockout stages, their determination in the freezing cold was to me admired as they never flustered in their bid to get their first win.
With an External coach who was present, ended up scouting Hafsa Mahmood 8E, Nyla Moses-Philips 8B, Kamiah Reid 9C and Tremoira Henriques 9E, and very well done to them and hopefully they can continue their progression in football outside of school.
I am extremely proud of the girls and I’m very confident of silverware being a real possibility for the girls by the end of the year.
