In light of the ongoing high temperatures, I would like to re-assure you that the academy has continued to review our measures to ensure that they are appropriate and our students and staff are safe in the heat. In addition to the previously communicated changes:
Thursday 25th June & Friday 26th June
After reviewing the amended weather forecast, if you feel you are able to keep your child cool at home, you may collect or arrange for them to make their own way home early from school on 25.06.2026 and 26.06.2026 at 13:30pm. We understand that many of our parents and carers work full-time, and an early closure would have an impact on them. Therefore, this arrangement is entirely optional, and the academy will remain open as usual for all students who parents and carers wish for them to stay. If you would like you child to stay in school on Thursday and Friday until 3.30pm, please complete the microsoft form link in the letter that has been emailed to you.
Please note that Year 12 Maths students will be dismissed after their exam on Thursday, and Politics and Biology students after their exam on Friday.
