Today, our Year 13 students are thrilled after achieving their places at university and in high quality apprenticeships. We talk to all our students, and especially those in Sixth Form, about becoming pioneers in their community and beyond - leaving a legacy that other students can follow. This year group have certainly achieved this.
Whilst there are many success stories to share, below is a small part of some of our students’ achievements and the destinations they will be going to.
Denis Balaj
A*A*A in Economics, Maths and History, will be going to study Economics at Loughborough.
Taznim Hossain
A*AA in Psychology, Biology and Chemistry, will be going to study Biomedicine at St George’s.
Tushar Kainth
A*AA in Maths, Further Maths and Economics, will be going to study Maths and Economics at LSE.
Ruqayyah Mansuri
A*A*A in Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, will be going to study Finance, Maths and Statistics at LSE.
Muhammad Naqavi
D*D*D* in Business BTEC, will be undertaking a degree level apprenticeship at a top firm.
A special acknowledgement also, for those students who are at the forefront of leaving a legacy at INA for generations of Year 13 to come.
Urboshi Khan
After joining the academy in Y9 and having adapted to the struggle of learning English alongside her GCSE study, Urboshi will be studying Biological Science at QMUL.
Sara Rahman
D*DD – the first winner of the Principal’s Award this year and going to study Environmental Sciences at QMUL.
Khushi Pathak
A central member of our hip-hop brass band and now our first student to study Music at university with a place at RHUL.
Well done to our staff and students on their achievements and a huge congratulations for their hard work.
The achievements and emotions of the day are perhaps best summed up by Yaseen Alam (A*AB, QMUL Computer Science), who said, “It’s been a pleasure to study at INA for seven years. I couldn’t be happier with my results! My teachers have been the greatest of minds, and I can’t thank them enough”.
