We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our Year 12 Cansat team, Code to Cosmos, who have won the prestigious Engineering Excellence Award in the Cansat / ESERO UK competition.

The award recognises outstanding engineering design and innovation throughout the competition. The team was praised for:
- the sizing, strength, and design of their parachute
- the strength and design quality of their CanSat shell
- the innovation and execution of their secondary mission
Throughout the project, our students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, creativity, resilience, and problem solving skills while applying engineering concepts to a challenging STEM project linked to the European Space Agency’s education programme.
We are extremely proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by the students throughout their Cansat journey. Their achievement is a fantastic example of the exciting opportunities available through STEM education and enrichment at Ark Isaac Newton Academy.
